ABSTRACT
This study analyzed the influences of personal variables, mother representation and peer representation on children\'s social competence. Subjects were 547 students of elementary school in Seoul and Inchon. Data were analyzed by simple regression and hierarchical multiple regression. The results of this study are as follows. First, mother representations influenced on children\'s social competence. Second, peer representations influenced on children\'s social competence. Third, mother and peer representations, removing influences of personal variables on children\'s social competence, influenced on children\'s social competence independently.
