The effects of Parent Instructor Training through Video-feedback for Autistic Disorder Young Children\'s Social Development

ABSTRACT
This study investigated the effects of parent instructor training through video-feedback training for very young autistic child. The participant was a child with autistic disorder of social skills, communication and behavior problems. Employing a multiple-baseline across behaviors design, a special teacher evaluated compliance behaviors and behavior problems such as aggressive, self-injured, and disruptive. A parent instructor training procedure was conducted in a classroom that consisted of video-feedback tape and interesting toys for child. During intervention, the participant improved the rate of compliance behavior, parenting behavior as well as reducing behavior problems. he was also higher of maintenance at the follow-up sessions that was conducted 4 weeks after intervention.
