ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to examine young children\'s social-emotional behavior problems. It was hypothesized that organism variables (temperament, self-regulation), micro system home variables (mother\'s behavior at home, marital relationship), micro system day care centersvariables (young children-caregiver relationship) and meso system variables (mother-caregiver relationship) have an impact upon young children\'s social-emotional behavior problems. The results revealed that the young children\'s social-emotional behavioral problems were directly affected by the child\'s temperament, their mother\'s behavior and the state of the marital relationship. In addition, the mother-caregiver played a mediating role which have an indirect impact upon affects young children\'s social-emotional behavioral problems. The revised model demonstrated the effectiveness of the analysis of the structural equation model and illustrated that all variables affected the social-emotional behavior problems of young children. These variables accounted for 45% of the social-emotional behavior problems detected among the sample.
