ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the usage of on-line education sites for young children in family. The parents of 335 young children(177boys, 158girls aged 3-6) answered questionnaires of children\'s on-line education sites usage. Most of the young children had experiences on on-line education, which shows prevalent installation of internet line in family and extensive availability of on-line educational contents for young children. Parents prefer having their children learn English, math, reading via on-line because of its multimedia and game characteristics. Parents want more extensive educational contents and appropriate teaching methods in on-line education sites which guarantee young children\'s independent learning and interaction with on-line teachers and peers. From this survey result, we suggest that experts of educating young children participate actively in building on-line education sites, and study young children\'s behaviors and attitudes in on-line learning activities.
