ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a flourish group counsel-ing program for college students and verify the effect on flourish, resilience, self-esteem, life satisfaction, psychological distress, and college adaptation. To this end, a group coun-seling program was developed and implemented based on theory and analysis of existing programs. To verify the effect, pre- and post-tests were conducted on 14 participants in the experimental group (9 males, 5 females) and 15 participants in the control group (11 males, 4 females) who did not receive any treatment. As a result of conducting an in-dependent sample t-test to confirm the difference between the two groups of post-test, the experimental group had significantly higher flourish and college adaptation than the control group. A paired sample t-test showed that the experimental group's flourish, re-silience, life satisfaction, and college adaptation significantly increased, while self-es-teem decreased, and psychological distress changes were not significant. In the control group, self-esteem was significantly lowered, and changes in other values were not significant. This study is meaningful in that it has developed a valid program that can be used in universities to promote the flourish of college students.
