The effects of social skills training through video-feedback plus response cost for Asperger\'s Disorder Children\'s social development

ABSTRACT
This study investigated the effects of social skills training through Video-feedback training plus response cost for preschool Asperger\'s Disorder Children. Three participants with Asperger\'s Disorder were impairment of social skills and attention problems. Employing a multiple-baseline across subjects design, a special teacher evaluated on-task behavior such as looking with peers, answering about appropriate situation and sharing toys, and off-task behavior such as avoiding eye contact, non-compliant, aggressive and temper-tantrum. A social skills training procedure was conducted in a lab that consisted of video-feedback tape and Board of token economy. During intervention, the participants improved the rate of on-task behavior as well as reducing off-task behavior. They also higher of maintenance at the follow-up sessions that were conducted 6 weeks after intervention.
